Origins Of Jack Herer Wax
Odds are that if you’re a fan of cannabis you’ll probably have at least heard of a guy called Jack Herer.?Sometimes called “The Emperor of Cannabis”, Jack Herer was one of the most prominent marijuana activists in the history of hemp. He even ran for United States President in 1988 and 1992. He also helped form the organisation?Help End Marijuana Prohibition (HEMP) and his name is know widely throughout the cannabis world and will continue to echo on even after his death in 2010. The strain Jack Herer was created by Sensi Seeds – combining?combining a?Haze hybrid with a Northern Lights #5 and Shiva Skunk cross.
Effects
Since Jack Herer is a sativa dominant strain, this wax hit my head instantly. I felt like I was getting some kind of adrenaline rush for a few seconds or so. After the initial hit to the head is over with, the cerebral, uplifting effects begin to emerge. If you’re the type of person who likes the rush and kick of a sativa, this will definitely be right up your street. I found myself able to focus in more on tasks that I enjoyed, and was able to blast right through them with ease. After another hit from the nail however, I felt the sedating effects even more and had to sit back for just a minute or two before I could focus. As with most concentrates, a small amount will usually be enough to satisfy a medical user, and bigger amounts can provide the hit that some recreational users seek.
Taste and Smell
Jack Herer wax provides a lovely pine/sweet smell that comes through in the taste as well. The pine/wood taste is much more apparent when the strain is smoked, however in wax form the sweet side of the strain comes through and give a much tastier hit.
On the nail
When the wax hits the nail there is a burst of that beautiful, sweet dab smell, followed by thick clouds of vapour. It provides an instant head high – flooding the brain with euphoria and uplifting cerebral effects.
Looks
Jack Herer wax has a beautiful golden yellow colour. It didn’t?clump up?into bigger chunks which made scooping it up to dab even easier.
